Abstract
A Web Content Management System (CMS) can ease the management of
complex e-government websites. This paper showcases five approaches to
web content management and discusses the benefits of open source content
management software for e-government. The tools and guidelines presented
will help web developers, information technology staff, and managers develop
a CMS strategy and choose appropriate software for running e-government
websites.
