Urban Insight is working with the Center for Health Reporting to provide a platform through which to explore questions about the quality and costs of health care.

The California HealthCare Foundation Center for Health Reporting is a new venture in journalism that is taking aim at the most fundamental healthcare issues facing Californians.

The Center for Health Reporting’s reporters and editors, all veterans with decades of journalism experience, are partnering with news organizations across the state to explore questions about the quality and costs of health care and about Californians’ ability to access it.

Using the popular and open source Drupal web content management system, Urban Insight worked with the journalists to develop the website as a platform for publishing packages of articles about health issues, finding related articles, archiving legacy articles, and tracking the impact health reporting has on our community.

In addition, the Drupal web content management system enables editors to easily embed video, images and sounds in their stories.
