Chris Steins, M.Pl., MCP+I, INet+, CIP
Chief Executive Officer
In 12 years of providing technology consulting services, Chris Steins has worked with a broad range of clients in government, and the private and nonprofit sectors. Chris is the former editor of two Los Angeles-based monthly trade newsmagazines reporting on urban planning, real estate development, environmental regulation, and infrastructure development, and was formerly executive director of a Los Angeles community development corporation which developed affordable multifamily housing. Chris holds certifications from Microsoft, Novell and CompTia. He is a lecturer at the University of Southern California, the immediate past Chair of the American Planning Association's Information Technology Division, and a member of the executive committee of the Urban Land Institute-Los Angeles. Chris is a graduate of both UCLA and the USC School of Policy, Planning, and Development.

Abhijeet Chavan, M. Arch, MLA
Chief Technology Officer
Abhijeet Chavan brings to Urban Insight a rare combination of experience in architecture, environmental planning and technical project management. He has 12 years of experience in project management with a specialization in geographic information systems (GIS) and web development. He was formerly Information Technology Coordinator for the Imaging Systems Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he developed and implemented GIS and web solutions for an urban community development project. Abhijeet is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Mindy Oliver, BFA
Chief Creative Officer
Mindy brings a unique blend of cutting edge entertainment print and Web design to Urban Insight. An award-winning designer, she has 10 years of experience in graphic design, print design, illustration and Web design. She is the former Multimedia Designer for a multimedia communications company, as well as an Assistant Art Director for a prominent entertainment industry magazine. Mindy is a graduate of UC Santa Cruz.
