Perhaps you have already invested time reviewing possible content management
systems, but concluded that you don't have the time or resources to
fairly evaluate the hundreds of options in the market.
Solution:
Urban Insight uses a proven evaluation process to help you first identify
your organizations requirements, and then evaluate the most likely
content management systems with these requirements in mind. Urban Insight
offers a four-phased evaluation process that can typically be completed
in two to six weeks.
Evaluation Process
1. Requirements Gathering
Urban Insight's professional staff will participate in an on-site meeting
with your staff and/or management team to discuss how you are currently
managing your website and your goals for the future. Urban Insight will
also assess your existing website and technology infrastructure.
2. Requirements Document
Urban Insight will prepare a brief report that details and prioritizes
your organization's requirements.
3. Software Evaluation and Report
Based on your organization's requirements, Urban Insight will identify
the three most likely content management systems, and perform an evaluation
of them. Urban Insight will document its evaluation in an easy-to-read
grid and a brief executive report to assist you in making a decision
about the CMS.
4. Software Demonstration
Urban Insight will provide a demonstration of the selected CMS to confirm
features and modules will perform as required, and familiarize the
organization's project team with operating the CMS.
5. Implementation (Optional)
Depending on the CMS selected, Urban Insight can optionally be retained
to implement the CMS, including a full range of additional module development,
graphic design, development, Section 508 accessibility consulting,
training, and operations support.
