Drupal Training

Urban Insight provides on-site corporate training and regularly scheduled webinar-based trainings.

Drupal (pronounced /'dru-pal/) is a popular, flexible, free and open source web content management system. It is used to power many different types of websites, ranging from small personal blogs to large corporate, entertainment and political sites. (Examples include WhiteHouse.gov, PopularScience.com and Economist.com.) Because Drupal is so flexible and powerful, project managers and developers often benefit from directed, hands-on training.

Corporate Training

Although Urban Insight is well-known for its Drupal consulting, the company has been providing on-site and webinar-based trainings since 2009. Our trainers have extensive hands-on experience implementing Drupal in a variety of environments, and provide real-life examples and discussions about how Drupal can be implemented to meet your needs.

We provide training to both developers and non-developers. For example, if you have a team of developers who need to get up to speed on module building, we can provide a focused one-day introduction on best practices for building Drupal modules. If you have a managerial team that is planning a Drupal implementation, we can provide a two-day introduction to Drupal that presents key Drupal concepts and best practices, and leaves your team ready to manage a complex Drupal implementation.

Urban Insight provides 1 to 4-day corporate trainings at your site or at our office in the Koreatown area of Los Angeles.

• We work with you to devise a training outline to meet your specific needs.
• Urban Insight provides two trainers for each session.
• Training is divided into 30-45 minute segments, and most segments include hands-on exercises.
• Training sessions run from 10am - 5pm, with a one-hour lunch break.
• We recommend limiting trainings to 12 participants.
• Each participant needs a (modern) notebook computer,
• Urban Insight will provide specifications about the software that needs to be installed on the computer prior to the training.
• If we are training at your facility, we require a reasonably fast Internet connection for all participants and trainers, and a screen or wall on which to broadcast training materials.
