Drupal (pronounced /'dru-pal/) is a popular, flexible, free and open source web content management system. It is used to power many different types of websites, ranging from small personal blogs to large corporate, entertainment and political sites. (Examples include Recovery.gov, Popular Science and The Onion.) Because Drupal is so flexible and powerful, it can sometimes be confusing to new users.
This will gently introduce you to Drupal as we build a neighborhood association website. The course is presented in a series of modules that will introduce a concept, and then implement the concept in Drupal. This course is intended for individuals who have basic familiarity with building a web page or blogging; no programming experience is assumed or necessary.
